About These Terms
The membership is provided by THE STRUCTURAL ADVANTAGE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17081276, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX (“we”, “us”). Contact us at info@thestructuraladvantage.co.uk.
These terms are separate from our website Terms & Conditions, which cover your general use of the site, the Scorecard and the waitlist. On any point about the membership, these terms take priority. We sell to consumers, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other law that cannot be excluded.
Please save a copy. Your confirmation email will include these terms — it is your record of the contract.
Definitions
- Membership — the paid service described in section 5, provided through the password-protected members' area.
- Materials — the training modules, videos, written frameworks and other digital content we provide. They include the foundational modules and the Core Strategy Modules (section 5).
- Competition Board — the area of the members' area showing our expected-value analysis of selected live prize competitions.
- Tracker — the tool where you record the competitions you enter and their outcomes. What you enter is your Tracker Data.
- Services — the Competition Board, the Tracker and member support, which we supply over time during the Service Period of 12 months from purchase.
- Operator — a third-party business that runs prize competitions or prize draws.
- Cancellation Period — the 14 days described in section 7.
Who Can Join
You must be 18 or over, resident in the United Kingdom, buying as a consumer for your own personal use, and give us accurate details. Membership is personal to you: you may not share, transfer or resell it. Membership is capped at 500 places, the first 100 of which are Founding Member places. We may decline any application or close sales; if we decline after taking payment, we refund you in full.
Buying a Membership
Our checkout is an invitation for you to make an offer. The contract is formed when we email you to confirm your Membership. If we cannot accept your order — for example because places have sold out or your payment is not authorised — we will tell you and will not charge you.
Before you pay, you will tick a box to confirm you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. We do not ask you at checkout to give up your right to cancel. That is asked only if you later choose to unlock the Core Strategy Modules early, in the members' area (section 7).
Your confirmation email will arrive before or as your access opens. It will include these terms, your cancellation rights and the model cancellation form in section 20. If you unlock the Core Strategy Modules early, we will email you a separate record of that consent.
What You Get
| Part of the Membership | What we commit to |
|---|---|
| Materials | The full framework, taught through video modules and written guides, available for as long as your Membership is active. |
| Competition Board | Our expected-value analysis of selected live competitions, updated at least once a week during the Service Period. The number of competitions shown is not fixed. Updating more often does not raise this minimum. |
| Tracker | Available continuously throughout the Service Period, including export of your data at any time. |
| Member support | Email support on the Membership and the method. We aim to reply within 2 working days and will always reply within 5 working days. Support does not include advice on which competitions you personally should enter. |
The Materials are digital content. The Competition Board, Tracker and support are services supplied over time. Our binding commitment on the Services, and the basis of any refund, is the 12-month Service Period; after it ends we will keep supplying them for as long as The Structural Advantage runs. If we fall short on the Competition Board or the Tracker in the Service Period, tell us. Where we are at fault we will put it right, and if we cannot, you are entitled to a proportionate reduction of the £99 apportioned to the Services (section 7).
How access opens
- Everything except the Core Strategy Modules opens as soon as your Membership is confirmed: the Competition Board, the Tracker, member support, the full curriculum listed and described, and the foundational modules.
- The Core Strategy Modules — the method itself — stay locked during the 14 days. They open automatically the day after your Cancellation Period ends, or earlier if you choose to unlock them from the members' area. Unlocking early ends your right to cancel the Materials (section 7). You never have to unlock early.
How long it lasts
The fee is a one-off payment for access for as long as The Structural Advantage runs. There is no subscription and no auto-renewal. We will keep the Membership available for at least 12 months from purchase. If we later discontinue it, we will give you at least 60 days' written notice, a chance to download the Materials and export your Tracker Data, and — where fair — a proportionate refund.
Price and Payment
The price is £495, including any VAT. There are no other charges. The first 100 members join at this founding price; later places are sold at a higher standard price. The price you pay is fixed when you buy.
You can pay by card, or pay with Klarna. Payments, including Klarna payments, are processed by Stripe Payments UK, Ltd. We do not see or store your full card details, we do not offer our own instalment plan, and we never take further payments from you after checkout.
Paying with Klarna
If you choose Klarna, Klarna pays us the full price and you enter into a separate agreement with Klarna, on Klarna's terms. Klarna decides whether to offer you a payment option and on what terms; we have no say in that and receive no information about your credit standing. Your contract with us is the same whichever way you pay. Refunds go back through Klarna, which then adjusts or cancels what you owe it. Questions about Klarna payments go to Klarna.
If a payment doesn't go through
If your payment, or Klarna's approval, fails at checkout, no contract is formed and you are not charged. Any later problem with a Klarna payment is between you and Klarna and does not affect your access. If a payment to us is reversed after your access has opened — for example through a chargeback — we will contact you to sort it out and may suspend your access while the dispute is open.
Your 14-Day Right to Cancel
You have 14 days from the day after we send your confirmation email to cancel, without giving a reason. Because digital content and services are treated differently by law, the £495 is apportioned as follows, and this is the basis of any refund:
| Element | Apportioned price |
|---|---|
| The Materials (digital content) | £396 (80%) |
| The Competition Board, Tracker and support (Services) | £99 (20%) |
The Materials
Under regulation 37 of the 2013 Regulations, you lose the right to cancel digital content once it is supplied with your express consent and your acknowledgement that the right is lost. We ask for that consent only if you choose to unlock the Core Strategy Modules early, in the members' area. Until then your right to cancel the Materials is fully intact, and if you cancel you get the full £396 back. If you never unlock early, the modules open after the 14 days have passed and the Cancellation Period ends in the normal way.
The Services
We start the Services as soon as your Membership is confirmed, so you can use the Competition Board, the Tracker and member support straight away. You are not charged for any Services you receive during the Cancellation Period: if you cancel within the 14 days, the £99 apportioned to the Services is refunded in full, whether or not you have unlocked the Core Strategy Modules.
What you agree to if you unlock early
The unlock is shown on its own screen and we email you a record of it straight away. You never have to unlock early.
How to cancel
Email info@thestructuraladvantage.co.uk with a clear statement that you want to cancel. You can use the model form in section 20, but you do not have to. What matters is that you send it within the 14 days.
Refunds
If you cancel within 14 days
| If you cancel and… | You are refunded |
|---|---|
| You have not unlocked the Core Strategy Modules | The full £495. |
| You have unlocked the Core Strategy Modules | The full £99 for the Services. The £396 for the Materials is not refundable. |
We confirm your cancellation within 2 working days, close your access, and refund you within 14 days of receiving it, to the payment method you used (to Klarna if you paid with Klarna). We never charge a fee for refunding you. Your bank or Klarna may take a few extra working days to show the money.
After the 14 days
We do not give refunds simply because you have changed your mind or not used the Membership. You are still entitled to money back if we fall short on the Services (section 5), if we materially reduce or discontinue the Membership, or end it other than for your breach (sections 14 and 15), or if your statutory rights apply. We may also offer a goodwill refund at our discretion; doing so once does not oblige us to do so again.
Your statutory rights are unaffected. The Materials must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, and the Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If we fall short, you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, if that is not possible or not done within a reasonable time, a price reduction of up to the full price.
Chargebacks
If you think something has gone wrong, please contact us before raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank, card provider or Klarna — it is usually much quicker (section 17). This is a request, not a condition, and does not affect your rights with them. If a dispute is raised, we will give an accurate account, including the terms you agreed to, your confirmation email and your recorded choices.
Nature of the Service
- Not advice. Nothing in the Membership is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and we are not authorised to give it. The Competition Board is our own analysis and opinion, provided as education; it is not a recommendation to enter any competition.
- Your decisions. You alone decide which competitions to enter and how much to spend, and you are responsible for entering within your means, following each Operator's terms, and any tax obligations.
- Operators. We do not run competitions and are not affiliated with or acting for any Operator. Your entry is a contract between you and that Operator. We are not responsible for their conduct, prizes, draws or outcomes, and cannot recover a prize or resolve a dispute for you.
- Accuracy. The Competition Board relies largely on information Operators publish. We take reasonable care, but cannot guarantee that entry numbers, odds, dates or prize details are accurate or will not change. Always check the Operator's own terms before you enter.
Your Account and Acceptable Use
Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for everything done through your account. One person, one account — sharing your login is a material breach. You agree not to use the members' area unlawfully or fraudulently, give false information, try to access our systems or another member's account, introduce malicious code, scrape content by automated means, or abuse, threaten or harass us, other members or Operators.
The Tracker and Your Data
The Tracker is optional. You keep ownership of your Tracker Data and can export it or ask us to delete it at any time; we handle it in line with our Privacy Policy. By using the Tracker you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your Tracker Data to provide the Tracker to you and, in aggregated and de-identified form, to improve the Competition Board and the Membership and for the Operator Accountability Programme (section 12). That licence continues for aggregated, de-identified data after your Membership ends, because it can no longer be linked to you. It does not extend to your identifiable data, which we delete or anonymise as the Privacy Policy sets out, apart from the limited, locked evidence records behind any report we have sent to a regulator, which the Privacy Policy also describes.
We will not identify you — not to a regulator, and not in any report, publication, or marketing — without your specific, separate, written consent, except where the law requires it. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Please record only what you genuinely believe to be accurate, and name only the operating business, never an individual who runs it. We may remove, correct or decline to use any entry that names an individual or appears inaccurate, malicious or unlawful.
Operator Accountability Programme
Where members record their own experience of an Operator — for example an entry cap exceeded, a late draw or an undelivered prize — we compile it, in aggregated and de-identified form and alongside our own observation of the Operator's public listings, into a factual record. Nothing in this programme is member-facing or public: we do not publish or share with members any Operator scores, ratings, warnings or notes.
The programme is not a regulatory function, a certification or a guarantee about any Operator, we do not act for you in any dispute, and a report does not oblige a regulator to act. Any public review you leave, such as on Trustpilot, is your own decision in your own words; we do not write, request or edit members' reviews. You are always free to report something to a regulator yourself.
Intellectual Property
We own, or are licensed to use, all intellectual property in the Materials, the Competition Board, the Tracker, our scoring frameworks and our branding. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Materials and the Competition Board for your own non-commercial use while your Membership is active. You may not copy, republish, resell or distribute them; share Competition Board content with non-members, including in forums, group chats or social media; use them to create a competing product or course; record or download videos other than where we offer a download; or remove ownership notices. Because the value of the Competition Board depends on limited circulation, a breach may lead to us ending your Membership without refund.
Changes to the Membership or These Terms
The Membership will develop: we may add, improve or retire individual Materials or features and change the platform we use. We will not reduce the weekly Competition Board commitment or withdraw the Tracker during your Service Period. If a change would materially reduce what you receive, we will give you reasonable notice and you may end your Membership for a proportionate refund. We may make changes needed for the law or security and will tell you when we do.
Minor changes to these terms (corrections, clarifications, legal updates) take effect when published. If a change would materially affect your rights, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and you may end your Membership before it takes effect for a proportionate refund. The terms you bought under will always be in your confirmation email.
Ending Your Membership
By you: outside the Cancellation Period you can close your account at any time by emailing us. As the fee is a one-off payment for access already given, this does not entitle you to a refund, and if you paid with Klarna it does not change what you owe Klarna.
By us: we may suspend or end your Membership if you materially breach these terms (in particular sections 10, 13 and the sharing rule in section 3), or use the Membership in a way that harms other members, us or a third party. Unless the breach is serious enough to act immediately, we will tell you the problem and give you a reasonable chance to put it right. If we end it for one of these reasons, no refund is due; if we end it for any other reason, or stop providing the Membership, we will give you a proportionate refund.
We will give you at least 30 days to export your Tracker Data before closing your account, then delete or anonymise your personal data in line with the Privacy Policy, subject to records we must keep by law and the limited evidence records it describes.
Our Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and our obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Subject to that, we are not liable for money you spend on entries, prizes you do not win, the acts, omissions or insolvency of any Operator, losses from your own decisions about what to enter or spend, or business losses. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us.
Complaints and Disputes
- 1. Tell us. Email info@thestructuraladvantage.co.uk with “Complaint” in the subject: what happened, when, and what you would like us to do.
- 2. We acknowledge it within 2 working days, with a reference number.
- 3. We give you a full written response within 14 days, or tell you why we need longer and when to expect it.
- 4. Final review. If you are not satisfied, reply within 28 days and we will review the whole complaint afresh and give our final written position within a further 14 days.
- 5. Outside help. We do not belong to an alternative dispute resolution scheme. Free, impartial advice is available from Citizens Advice on 0808 223 1133, who can refer matters to Trading Standards. You may take the matter to court, including the small claims track, and complain about personal data to the Information Commissioner's Office. You do not have to finish our process first.
For a problem with an Operator, raise it with them in writing first; you can record it in your Tracker, and you are free to report it yourself to the Gambling Commission, the ASA or Trading Standards. If money or competitions are causing you difficulty, please tell us: we will treat it in confidence, close your account if you wish, and take your circumstances into account.
Privacy and Our Suppliers
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this contract. The main suppliers involved in the Membership are Stripe (payments), Klarna (if you choose to pay with Klarna), Softr (the members' area, your account and the Tracker), IONOS (website hosting and email), ScoreApp (the Scorecard) and, where you consent, Meta (advertising measurement). The Privacy Policy explains what each one does with your data.
General, Law and Contact
- Whole agreement — these terms, the Privacy Policy and your confirmation email are the whole agreement about the Membership, without limiting liability for fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Transfer — you may not transfer your Membership. We may transfer ours to another business only if it does not affect your rights, and will tell you first.
- Severance and delay — if any part is found unlawful, the rest still applies; if we delay enforcing something, we can still do so later.
- Third parties — no one else may enforce this contract.
- Events outside our control — we are not liable for delay caused by them, but will tell you, and if the delay is substantial you may end the Membership for a proportionate refund.
- Law — these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in its courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there.
